WOW!---Where do I begin? Our six year old Dachshund, {our youngest child, Cricket}, has severe skin allergies, causing her skin to be very dry, itchy, and at times miserable. Her vet suggested medicated shampoo, so trying to be a good parent , I bought a bottle and started using it on her. In the meantime, my husband [her daddy], was introduced to Castle Hill Soap Company and their line of dog shampoo bars. He brought a bar home, told me about it,and their web site. I read their ingredients on the box of soap, which immediately caused me to be more curious, so to their web site I went to find out more. I then thought about it for a couple of days and decided that their ingredients all made sense. Then I made the decision , it was time to give Castle Shampoo Bar a chance.

At this point, Cricket was seemingly to be in tears when I bathed her with the medicated shampoo. I believe it was drying her skin out even more and adding to her discomfort. I couldn't and didn't want to see her so unhappy with bath time any longer. By the time her next bath time was over, I was amazed at not only her attitude, but also her skin appearance ! It not only moisturized her skin, it gave a good lather and rinsed with ease. The Castle Hill Shampoo Bar seemed to soothe all those irritable itchy spots within that very first bath. No, of course it didn't cure her allergy problem , that will be a job for her specialty Vet in Indianapolis...But... it has made her life on a day to day basis much more bearable. Think I'm crazy, but I swear she came out of that bath with a smile on her little face ! This is where the WOW! comes to mind......I say, "Castle HILL Soap Company, You've got a winner in my books ! No more commercial, store bought dog shampoo for our "Baby Girl" !........ A Sincere Thank-You, Castle Hill Soap Co. for caring about our four legged family members.
